Deloitte adds senior tax manager to private client team

DELOITTE has appointed a new senior tax manager to its private client team in Yorkshire and the north east.

Peter Cass holds 18 years' experience advising professional service companies on mergers, acquisitions, demergers, partnership disputes, conversion to LLP and incorporation.

He joins from RSM Tenon, where he was the national head of the company's professional practices team.

Deloitte tax partner in Yorkshire and the north east Stephen Hall said: "I am delighted that Peter has decided to join Deloitte.

"Peter will be a valuable asset to the strong team we have across the region. This remains a challenging climate for businesses in the professional services sector and we are pleased to be continuing to appoint new talent, ensuring our clients remain fully compliant by benefitting from expertise in the sector."

Cass said: "The opportunity to join the pre-eminent adviser to the sector was too good to refuse and I look forward to working with the team in growing our client base across the north region."
