David Adams joins international model and collectables company as non-executive
FORMER HOUSE OF FRASER group finance director and deputy chairman David Adams will take a non-executive director role at Hornby.
Adams, takes the job at the international models and collectables company while continuing in his current roles as non-executive at FTSE250 retailer Halfords, chairman of Musto and non-executive chairman of Conviviality Retail and Park Cameras.
Prior to building up his portfolio career, Adams was chairman of snap equity, the business which led the restructuring of Jessops after it collapsed early last year. Before that he was deputy chairman and group finance director of House of Fraser.
Hornby also recruited Charlie Caminada as a non-executive director. He has a background in global media and entertainment and was previously COO of HIT Entertainment which is now part of Mattel.
Roger Canham, executive chairman said: “I am very pleased to welcome David and Charlie to the board. They both have a tremendous amount of highly relevant experience. I am in no doubt that they will make a strong contribution to the group as we move forward.
