Anne Hyland joins board of FTSE 250 specialty chemicals company Elementis as a non-executive director
THE CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER of Vectura Group has joined FTSE 250 specialty chemicals company Elementis as a non-executive director with effect from 1 June 2013.
Anne Hyland has been CFO of Vectura since 2002, a product development company in the pharmaceutical sector which develops therapeutic products principally for the treatment of respiratory diseases.
Previously, she held a number of senior finance positions including director of corporate finance at then FTSE 100 Celltech Group, Medeva and KPMG. She is a chartered accountant and a corporate tax adviser.
Bob Beeston, chairman of Elementis, said: “Anne brings an impressive track record with her to the board both as a proven and commercially astute CFO and corporate finance professional and from having extensive international experience in the areas of product development and commercialising technology. She will be a welcome addition to our board and I am delighted that she has accepted the position and look forward to working with her”.
Elementis shares rose 8.5p to 255.7p in morning trading on the London Stock Exchange.
