LGIM recruits Siobhan Boylan as chief financial officer
LEGAL & GENERAL Invesment Management has appointed Siobhan Boylan as chief financial offier.
Boylan, who qualified with PwC, joined insurers Aviva group in 2001 holding several positions such as: group financial reporting and planning director; CFO of Aviva Investors; and latterly CFO of North America.
Previously the role’s responsibilities were within the remit of LGIM’s finance director Andrew Overy’s. However, Overy announced his intention to leave the business earlier this year with the duties now expanded out to the CFO role – subject to regulatory approval,Accountancy Age’s sister publication Professional Pensions reports.
Boylan will report directly to LGIM chief executive Mark Zinkula.
Zinkula said: “Siobhan joins us at an exciting time for our business. Our international expansion is gaining momentum as we experience increasing demand for our range of strategies. Siobhan’s experience as an internationally focused CFO will be a great asset to the business.”
Boylan added: “This is a business with a tremendous potential for growth and in my new role I hope to use my experience to help Mark and the Board drive the best from the business and capitalise on the many opportunities open to LGIM.”
