OIL EXPLORATION business Northern Petroleum has recruited Nick Morgan as its finance director.
Morgan trained with Price Waterhouse and is a member of the ICAEW. He has more than 13 years' investment banking experience – most recently at energy investment business Tristone Capital where he was director of investment banking.

He joined Tristone in 2006 and prior to that was at Williams de Broe providing corporate finance and corporate broking services. He was also at HSBC Investment Bank for a stint as a member of the growth companies team, providing mergers and acquisition advise to clients.
Northern Petroleum also announced that Keith Bush has taken on the role of chief operating officer.
Richard Latham, chairman of Northern Petroleum, said: "Keith Bush has now been with the company for six months and has made a success of his position as chief operating officer.
"Nick Morgan has the experience to do the same in his appointment as finance director. On behalf of the board, I welcome them and look forward to working together for the continued growth of Northern."
