Major refurbishment works finished at Deloitte's Reading office sees 500 staff return to Abbots House
FIVE HUNDRED Deloitte staff have returned to its Reading town centre office, after it received a million-pound makeover.
The Abbots House office is said to have become a flagship building for Deloitte following 16 months of major work costing £12m, the largest property undertaking for the firm since 2008, reports getreading.com.
The partner in charge of the newly refurbished office block, Carol Mackinnon, said: “We are proud to unveil our newly refurbished office which leads the way for Deloitte’s sustainability agenda.”
The buildings overhaul has reportedly resulted in an excellent rating from a recent BREEAM assessment, due to its various environmentally friendly features. BREEAM is an environmental assessment method and rating system for buildings.
The refurbished office also includes an on-site gym and cycle facilities.
