    Ex-KPMG audit partner joins Close Brothers board

    Shonaid Jemmett-Page joins Close Brothers as an independent non-executive director

    SPECIALIST FINANCIAL SERVICES group Close Brothers has appointed chartered accountant Shonaid Jemmett-Page as an independent non-executive director.

    Jemmett-Page, who joined the board on 1 August, was previously a financial sector audit partner at KPMG, and more recently as chief operating officer of CDC Group.

    She is currently a non-executive director of GKN and APR Energy. From 2008 to 2010, she was a non-executive director of Havelock Europa.

    Close Brothers shares rose 3.5p to 746.5p in this morning’s trading.
