Richard Fleck moves across from Auditing Practices Board to Financial Reporting Review Panel
THE Financial Reporting Review Panel (FRRP) has today appointed Richard Fleck as chairman.
He replaces Bill Knight, who retired on 31 March after serving as chairman for eight years.
Baroness Hogg, the chairman of the Financial Reporting Council (FRC), said: “Richard will be a first-class successor to Bill and brings to the FRRP a wealth of experience having served for many years as a lawyer specialising in corporate and regulatory law, and as chair of the Auditing Practices Board (APB).”
She also paid tribute to Knight, adding: “Bill has been an excellent chair of the FRRP, and has played a particularly important role in improving the quality of narrative reporting by companies.”
Fleck said: “I am delighted that I have been appointed chairman of the FRRP. I look forward to building on Bill’s excellent work and ensuring that we continue to improve the quality of narrative reporting.”
