Harbour maintenance company drops PwC for BDO as auditors following tendering process
PWC HAS BEEN dropped as auditors of harbour maintenance company Sutton Harbour.
Following a recommendation to put the audit out to tender, by the audit committee, BDO has been named as the successor.
A statement from Sutton Harbour said: “Following significant change in the structure of the group, after exiting aviation transport activities, the board (on the recommendation of the audit committee) decided that it was appropriate to put the group audit out to competitive tender, and BDO was successful in this selection process.”
PwC said there were no circumstances in connection with its resignation as auditor.
