ACCOUNTANTS WANT MORE applications to enable them to work from iPads, according to new research.
A Thomson Reuters Digita survey of more than 400 respondents from a cross-section of firms found that practitioners want more integration between their office and mobile tools.

Other wants include links with Outlook and Blackberry voice recognition capability, and easier recording of client phone calls.
"Our results suggest that accountants are increasingly looking for added integration with their day-to-day mobile applications to maximise efficiency," said Andrew Flanagan, managing director of Digita.
"It is crucial to understand the changing needs of the profession and this survey is just part of an ongoing dialogue to ensure that Digita applications deliver the innovative functionality the profession demands."

iPad is the wrong tool. Check out BlackBerry PlayBook instead!

Also, if everyone wants to connect to their BlackBerry phone, then the PlayBook is the solution, since it has a unique, built-in software to directly connect the BlackBerry phone with the PlayBook to providing integration of E-Mails, Contacts, and Calendar just to name a few.
