FORMER ICAEW president Martin Hagen has been appointed deputy chairman and senior independent director of cosmetics packaging business Swallowfield.
Hagen joined Swallowfield in January 2011, serving as the business' chairman between July 2011 and January 2012.

Hagen takes his new role following Roger McDowell's resignation. He will also chair the audit and remuneration committees and serve as a member of the nomination committee.
Hagen served as ICAEW president in 2009/2010.
