REEVES PARTNERSHIP chairman David Ashman has been awarded an OBE in the Queen's New Year's Honours list.
Ashman was awarded the OBE for his voluntary service to the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association (SSAFA) Forces Help.
Founded in 1885, the association is the UK's oldest military charity, providing financial, emotional and practice assistance to current or past serving men and women, and their families.
He is a trustee of the charity and national honorary treasurer, and also a charity/not for profit sector specialist at Reeves.
"I am absolutely delighted to be recognised with this honour and for being part of such a deserving charity. The work SSAFA does is amazing and really makes a difference to people's lives.
"It is a privilege to support the volunteers who do so much to assist serving and ex-service men, women and their families who are in need."
