Jewellery maker Abbeycrest appoints Mark Birchall as FD
MARK BIRCHALL is the new group FD at Abbeycrest.
Birchall, an ACCA-qualified accountant and MBA holder, joins the LSE-listed jewellery maker from his own consultancy company.
Prior to starting his interim finance and restructuring business in 2009, Birchall spent ten years as FD of Global Invacom.
Simon Lazenby steps down from the board.
On 30 November Abbeycrest warned that although it had reduced its working capital requirement by £200,000 during the month, it might need to do so again – or extend its banking facility – in January 2012.
Its share price was static on this morning’s trading at 1.75p, valuing the company at £1.3m.
