REUTERS' FORMER CFO David Grigson has taken on the role of chairman and non-executive at publishers Trinity Mirror.
Grigson was most recently chief financial officer of Reuters for eight years and prior to that was group finance director for 11 years at publishers Emap.

He is currently non-executive director of insurers Standard Life and online grocery business Ocado and previously held a similar position at Carphone Warehouse.
Grigson will take up his new role at Trinity Mirror on 3 August 2012 and succeeds Ian Gibson who retires from the company.
