ROBERT CLARKE is the new FD for fund management group MAM Funds.

Clarke takes the group finance director & director of operations role after the board created the new position.

Formerly CEO of Witan Investment Trust between 2008 and 2010, the chartered accountant held the FD role before becoming CEO at Majedie Investments.

He has also held FD roles with Hoare Govett Securities and Alwen Hough Johnson.

Current CFO Tony Moore has stepped down from his role but will work with Clarke into 2012. Current COO John Graham is also stepping down, followed by a handover to Clarke.

"The board would like to thank both Tony and John for their dedicated service to MAM, particularly during the extensive restructuring of the business over the last few years, and wishes them both well for the future," the company said in a statement to the stock exchange.
