MARK REID, chief financial officer of Aurelian Oil & Gas, has resigned with immediate effect to "pursue other career projects".
He is succeeded by non-executive director John Matthews, who has taken up the role of acting finance director.

Former executive at Regus, Matthews has 35 years' experience in investment banking. His post as chairman of Aurelian audit committee will be taken over by company chairman John Conlin.
Conlin said: "Mark has made an outstanding contribution to Aurelian since joining in 2009. The Board and I are disappointed to lose him as a colleague and a director, and we wish him and his family well with his future plans."
