FORMER ABBEY FD Nathan Bostock has decided against taking up a senior group role with Lloyds and will instead remain with RBS.

ICAS-qualified Bostock, currently RBS' head of restructuring and risk, was lined up to serve as CEO of wholesale banking at Lloyds Group.

The reversal came after "careful consideration", announced RBS.

Bostock left his CFO role at Abbey to join RBS as head of restructuring, following former Abbey finance head and RBS chief Stephen Hester.

Lloyds shares traded 1.09p down, to 24.11p, on this morning's trading.
