Award-winning non-executive director John Gregory is Pearson's new audit committee chair
SPHERE MEDICAL HOLDING’S new audit committee chair is John Gregory, who was recently named ‘AIM Non-Executive Director of the Year’ in the annual Peel Hunt and Sunday Times-sponsored non-exec awards.
A chartered accountant, Gregory has specialised in non-executive directorships in recently established expanding companies for the past 17 years, including Foresight VCT and a number of private companies.
Stephen Mahle, former executive vice-president of Medtronic, has also joined Sphere’s board as a non-executive director.
Chief executive officer Dr Stuart Hendry, said: “Mr Gregory and Mr Mahle bring a wealth of experience to [our] board at a time when the company is transitioning to a publicly listed company on AIM and approaching the commercialisation phase for its lead products.”
