Fourth Hospitality welcomes new CFO

IT BUSINESS Fourth Hospitality has recruited Stuart Layzell as chief financial officer.

Layzell was most recently part of the Business Growth Fund, a £2.5bn initiative set up by the UK's five largest banks and British Bankers Association, which invests in SMEs.

Layzell said: "I am looking forward to playing a central role in building on Fourth's well established position in the hospitality sector, particularly in driving our international expansion."

As well as working for Business Growth Fund, Layzell also spent a number of years at investment firm LDC.

Layzell, who trained with Coopers and Lybrand, has also worked as chief operating officer at US developer of wireless products Defywire and was managing director, Europe, at IT consulting business Noblestar.
