INTERNATIONAL GREETINGS, the makers of gift wrap cards using cartoon characters from film and TV like Toy Story and the Simpsons has appointed a new finance director in Anthony Lawrinson.

The business booked revenues of £216.9m to March 2011, up on the £198.2m the previous year.
Lawrinson, 42, takes over from Sheryl Tye at the beginning of October and was formerly FD at Reliance Security and before that group treasurer at O2.
