CROWE CLARK WHITEHILL has moved up the Hemscott auditor rankings list for the second consecutive quarter.
In May, the firm moved up one place to thirteeth, moving a further four places this quarter to become the ninth largest overall audit provider.
RSM Tenon was another success story climbing three spots to 15, while UHY Hacker and Young Chantrey Vellacott each climbed one place to 11 and 14 respectively.
However, Mazars dropped one place to 11 and Littlejohn fell one spot to 17.
BDO continues to be the only firm outside the Big Four to audit a FTSE-100 client.
Overall, PwC gained a net 51 audit clients and BDO 25, according to the Hemscott guide.
Andrew Pianca, (pictured) CEO of Crowe Clark Whitehill, said: “None of this would have been possible without our dedicated team. I am, therefore, pleased to announce that David Mellor has been appointed London managing partner and Fiona Hotston Moore has been appointed London head of corporates.
“We have also recently appointed eight new partners and a number of directors to increase our specialism in media, property and financial services.”
