MACINTYRE HUDSON has recruited a tax employment team from Mazars, it announced today.
Chris Blundell (principal) and Alastair Kendrick (director) have joined the top 20 firm. Blundell joined in July and Kendrick will take up his post today.
This follows the recruitment of VAT principal Gerry Myton and the firm has said that another VAT director will arrive in October.
Kendrick said the team will be focusing on PAYE, company car taxation, equity & reward and expat services and regularly address issues such as share incentives, the operation of PAYE and the application of NI.
"Real time reporting of PAYE is a significant issue for all organisations as it will require considerable work for our clients to get up to speed in time for the changes, which will go live between April and October 2013," he added. "It seems a long lead in time but it's a huge change in a system that we've had since the 1950s and the penalties for getting your reporting wrong will be significant."
Rakesh Shaunak, MacIntyre Hudson's chairman (pictured), said: "Following the recent merger with the not for profit practice Gotham Erskine, I'm thrilled to be announcing another expansion of the MacIntyre Hudson team which will benefit our clients nationwide."
