THE CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER of software provider Iris has taken on the role of divisional chief executive at the recently restructured business.
Iris seperated into two divisions earlier this year - Iris Accountancy Solutions and Iris Software Group. Roberts (pictured) became interim CEO in the Software division, which produces technology for the legal and medical profession.

He has worked at the company for six years as CFO and continued those duties when he was acting CEO. Roberts has previously held senior finance and management roles across the IT industry including FD of GuardianiT, Specialist Computer Holdings, and CEO of business continuity in Europe for SunGuard.
Nick Discombe, chairman of Iris Software said: "Neal has a wealth of experience having successfully run much bigger businesses as CEO in the technology sector, as well as being CFO for a number of other companies, prior to joining Iris.
"With Neal's passion and commitment, we will continue to build on Iris' success, as well as changing and developing it to fully realise the group's potential."
