ADMINISTRATORS FROM FRP Advisory have been appointed to a 54-year-old hotel furniture business in Essex.
Pedley Furniture, which employs 70 staff, has suffered as hotel operators globally have scaled back investment.

Jason Baker and Geoff Rowley of FRP have been appointed joint administrators to the business and will trade it as a going concern.
"Pedley Furniture International is an important business for the area of Saffron Walden. We hope that a buyer can be located and that we are able to sell the business as a going concern, safeguarding the jobs of the employees and enabling the business to continue into the future," said Baker.
