FORMER KPMG MANAGER Andrew Bailey has taken a board appointment at recruitment and training business RTC.

New group finance director Bailey spent five years at KPMG working in its audit and tax division before leaving to join Eagle Trust as a divisional financial controller.

He later joined software company Sanderson as FD and has held non-executive and managing director roles.

The latest appointment has seen Bailey return to the board at RTC that he initially joined in 2003 as commercial director, later working as managing director, then group chief operating officer. He left the board for a role as training division MD.

Bailey succeeds Mark Kendall, who resigned in July last year to pursue other interests.

Kendall joined RTC in 2007 as group financial controller then resigned as group FD four months into the role.
