FORMER Powergen finance director Peter Hickson has taken a non-executive role at UK Coal.
ICAEW fellow Hickson will become senior independent director on Peter Hazell's retirement.
Further reading
He served as Powergen FD between 1996 and 2002 and has held non-executive roles at Kazakhmys, Scottish Power, Marconi, RAC and London & Continental Railways. He was chairman at Anglian Water between 2003 and 2009.
A new non-executive will be sought to take over as audit committee chair following Hazell's departure.
