John Porteus RSM Tenon

RSM TENON aims to develop its investment and technology propositions with an appointment to its financial management team.

New addition John Porteus will head the business arm, focusing on wealth platform and investment propositions, looking into the development of new direct-to-market services.

John White, head of financial management, said: "Our industry and its distribution channels are evolving and our propositions and services must meet the challenges from both consumers and regulators. Bringing John Porteous on board is part of our strategic plan to bring people into the organisation that can help position our business for the future."

Porteus was previously head of UK distribution at Australian bank Macquarie and has held leadership roles at BDO Stoy Hayward Investment Management and the Institute of Financial Planning.
