Accountant takes non-exec role at Mecom
CFO takes audit committee chairman role at media company Mecom
MEDIA BUSINESS MECOM has recruited Zillah Byng-Maddick as chairman of its audit committee.
Byng-Maddick (pictured) is a qualified accountant and is currently chief financial officer of Trader Media. Prior to Trader, she was group commercial director and CFO for Fitness First. Byng-Maddick has held several financial positions at retailers Thresher, HMV and financial company GE Capital.
She succeeds Stephen Davidson, who becomes non-executive chairman at Mecom.
Davidson believes Byng-Maddick will bring the right balance of executive and non-executive experience to the board.
