Document management system unveiled at CCH annual conference
KEYING DATA IS a thing of the past according to IT provider CCH, which has launched new scanning software.
The company provides corporate and personal tax technology to large and medium-size accountancy firms internationally.
Its latest product, CCH Auto, is targeted at accountants to reduce time spent keying personal tax information received in paper format. Accountants can scan a document, and using CCH software upload it to a database which will automatically assign it to the correct client.
The payment model is based on the number of tax returns using the technology. The software is already used by several accountancy firms in the US.
Wendy Rowe, CCH UK software product manager, said: “CCH Auto is the result of several years of research and development.
“It represents the next step in this journey and an unprecedented improvement in the efficiency of tax compliance.”
