ADMINISTRATORS FROM FRP Advisory have been called to fashion retailer Brand Acquisitions.

Jason Baker (pictured) and Geoff Rowley, partners at FRP Advisory, were appointed joint administrators of the parent company to Springrealm, which owns menswear brand Peter Werth and womenswear marque Pink Soda.

Brand Acquisitions was created in 2007, funded by private equity partners, and acquired Peter Werth in 2007 and Pink Soda in 2009. The company employs about 70 people across the brands.

"Unfortunately, to reduce costs, we have had to make certain redundancies at the head office. However, it is our intention to trade the business as a going concern with a view to finding a buyer and securing the jobs of the remaining employees," said Baker.

There were approximately 5 redundancies.
