KPMG HAS APPOINTED a new director of its Major Project Advisory practice, which advises clients working in sectors like construction, infrastructure and transport.

Stuart Westgate has spent ten years with project and programme specialists The Nichols Group, and recently went on a two-year secondment as director of surface at Crossrail.

Richard Powell, head of the firm's Major Projects Advisory practice, said: "Stuart's experience will allow us to help our clients save themselves both time and money as they look to manage long-term infrastructure projects through difficult times."
