BEEVER AND STRUTHERS has shouldered its way into a not-for-profit company's audit, leaving previous auditor KPMG out in the cold.

St Leger Homes manages Doncaster's 21,000 council houses, and is currently in the throes of a £300m investment programme to bring the buildings up to scratch.

The Manchester-based firm has a strong record in this sector, and partner Maria Hallows said: "I'm confident that St Leger will benefit from the vast experience of the Beever and Struthers' social housing and not-for-profit team."
