BEGBIES TRAYNOR ADMINISTRATORS have been called to Eastbourne-based adventure park business Coasta Ltd.

Jon Beard (pictured) and Neil Mather were appointed joint administrators to Coasta which trades under the Treasure Island brand, the Eastbourne Hearld reports.

Beard, partner based in the Brighton office of Begbies Traynor, said: "We are keen to work with the council to enable the sale of the business and secure a new tenant for the park as soon as possible."

The administrators have closed Treasure Island. It is reported the amusement park owed its landlord Eastbourne Borough Council £50,000.
