CONVENIENCE food group Greencore has appointed a new chief financial officer in Alan Williams . He takes over the post on 7 March.
Williams most recent role was with confectionary makers Cadbury where he was global corporate finance director heading up the central finance function. He has also been head of finance for Cadbury in the US and the company's French drinks business.

CEO Patrick Coveney said Williams would bring an "extraordinary range of financial expertise" to the job.
