    CFO suspended at Healthcare Locums

    Medical staffing business Healthcare Locums has suspended CFO Diane Jarvis while it conducts an internal investigation

    BRITISH MEDICAL STAFFING COMPANY Healthcare Locums has suspended its CFO and another top executive while it conducts an internal investigation into accounting irregularities.

    Healthcare Locums, which ceased trading shares yesterday, suspended CFO Diane Jarvis and executive vice-chairman and founder Kate Bleasdale, pending the outcome of the investigation.

    A statement from the company said: “Serious accounting irregularities have been brought to the attention of the board as a result of which the company will be carrying out an immediate investigation to consider the financial implications.”

    The board has “strong reason to believe” the financial performance of the company will be below market expectations for the year 31 December 2010.
