Agiliysis awards UNIT4 with finance software contract

OUTSOURCERS to North Somerset Council have signed a £600,000 deal for new business software.

Agilisys, which has a ten-year services contract with the council, has awarded the business software contract to UNIT4 Business Software.

The technology should provide councillors and council staff with a real-time and complete view of its finances.

Peter Sloman, head of finance at North Somerset Council, said: “I am confident it will provide a platform for the council to ensure we can respond with pace and make the right decisions as the council meets its increased financial challenges in light of the government spending review.”
