Centrica calls on Vodafone financial controller for board appointment
Margherita Della Valle, group financial controller at Vodafone, becomes third female board member at Centrica
BRITISH GAS operator Centrica has added a third woman to its board with the appointment of Margherita Della Valle as a non-executive director.
Della Valle, who is currently group financial controller at Vodafone, will join Centrica’s board at the start of next year and become a member of its audit, nominations and remuneration committees.
Centrica chairman Roger Carr said Della Valle was a “talented member of the Vodafone senior leadership team and will bring valuable financial and consumer market experience to Centrica”.
