Halfords shops at M&S for new FD
Andrew Findlay moves from Marks and Spencer to Halfords in February next year, replacing Nick Wharton as group FD
HALFORDS, the cycle and automotive product chain, has raided high street icon Marks and Spencer to find its new group finance director.
Andrew Findlay will take the FD reins at Halfords at the start of February next year. His current role is director of finance, tax and treasury at Marks and Spencer and he has also held senior finance positions at the London Stock Exchange and Cable and Wireless.
He replaces Nick Wharton, who leaves at the end of the month to become chief executive of budget home furnishing retailer Dunelm Group.
