Walton promoted from group financial controller at the electrical contractors
Martin Walton is the new finance director and company secretary of T Clarke.
Chartered accountant Walton has held senior finance roles with BDO Stoy
Hayward, KPMG and London Transport.
Walton has served as the company’s group financial controller for the past
three years. His previous role is taken by Kim Thistleton, who joins from
accountancy firm Reeves & Neylan. She knows T Clarke having audited the
group subsidiary for a number of years.
“He has nearly twenty years of experience of working with major plcs in the
sector and we have been impressed by the impact he has made since joining us. He
has an excellent knowledge of the industry and its challenges,” said chief
executive Mark Lawrence.
