UHY Hacker Young administrators sell Portsmouth, to take the football club out of administration
Administrators from UHY Hacker Young have completed the sale of Portsmouth
Football Club.
The club, sold to Balram Chainrai, Levi Kushnir and Deepak Chainrai, is now
out of administration.
Pompey chief executive David Lampitt praised the work of fans, staff,
administrators and lawyers for their efforts to help affect the sale.
“…An important word of thanks goes to the administrators – Andrew Andronikou,
Peter Kubik, Michael Kiely and the other UHY staff – as well as their lawyers at
Walker Morris. The work that has gone on behind the scenes to get us over the
line should not be underestimated or forgotten about,” said Lampitt.
