Confidence hits 18-month low among CFOs

More than a third of CFOs in the City believe the UK is heading for a double-dip recession according to a Deloitte survey.

Confidence levels among finance chiefs has hit an 18-month low, declining for the third successive quarter in Deloitte’s CFO survey.

“UK corporates entered 2010 with a cautious view on the sustainability of the recovery and have stuck to this view,” said Deloitte vice chairman and partner Margaret Ewing.
