The accounting head at the Financial Services Skills Council has taken on a new role as the body looks to restructure its top management.
Dean Cassar, director of accountancy at the Financial Services Skills Council, becomes director of client services and engagement.
The move is part of the FSSC's streamlining of its management team.
Cassar is a former FD of the Learning and Skills Network, and previous head of finance at Liberata.
He will oversee the marketing and communications and the operations and finance teams, and retain his duties from his previous role.
“Employer and Stakeholder engagement is absolutely crucial to the work we do and my appointment and new role confirms our commitment to work in close partnership with employers across the whole of the financial services and accountancy and finance industry," said Cassar.
