AIM-listed exploration company appoints new CFO

AIM-listed gas exploration company, San Leon Energy, has appointed a new finance director.

Vincent Barry, a fellow of ACCA, was previously director of corporate finance at Dublin-based accountants LHM Casey McGrath, according to a sharemarket announcement today.

While at Casey McGrath he aided a number of companies list on AIM and PLUS markets, in the oil, gas and mineral exploration sectors. He also has experience implementing International accounting standards.

Oisín Fanning, chairman of San Leon, said Barry joins the company at “an immensely busy and exciting period” as the business is attempting to develop its portfolio of assets.

"He has great expertise in similar companies / situations and we look forward to working with him,” he said.
