Former CFO John Charlton appointed non-exec at Gold Oil
John Charlton becomes non-exec at Gold Oil as part of boardroom shakeup
Oil and Gas company Gold Oil has appointed former Kvaerner CFO Dr John
Charlton to its board as a non-executive director.
Charlton, 66, will take up the position with immediate effect as part of a
boardroom shuffle that also sees the appointment of Richard Mew as chief
executive and John Bell as non-executive chairman.
Prior to serving as CFO at Anglo Norwegian engineering group Kvaerner,
Charlton had served as group treasurer at ICI, heading up the finance function.
He has also sat on a number of boards, including Biofuels Corporation, Bateman
Litwin and Potatopak, and was CFO of Trikona Advisers.
