HMRC office japes unmasked

by Accountancy Age

15 Feb 2010

It seems working at HM Revenue & Customs may not be the dry humourless experience we once might have thought.

Reports and pictures have emerged this morning of HMRC staff passing at least some of their time at work constructing face masks and having their pictures taken wearing them, the Daily Mail reports.

The Mail says that at least one employee took pictures to post on his Facebook page. The page, apparently now unavailable, also included links to cartoons on Youtube brutally sending up the callers to HMRC call centres.

thats's why

Thats why they were not answering the phones. All becomes clear, I don't see why this should be removed from U tube. I have paid for this and would like to see it. HMRC are a joke and they should be proud of their work.
