Channel 4's group financial controller has been promoted to director of finance.

Glyn Isherwood takes the role as part of a restructuring of management at the broadcaster.

Recently appointed COO Anne Bulford has taken on a number of new responsibilities at the company alongside finance, including strategy & corporate development; commercial & business development and technology.

Under the new structure Isherwood will take increased responsibility for all aspects of financial strategy and planning, and take over primary responsibility for investment appraisal and support for key commercial negotiations.

Bulford said: “I am very excited about this new structure which brings together the people who enable Channel 4 to realise its creative vision and remit."
