Sage chief executive of 16 years, Paul Walker, is to step down from the group. He spent 26 years in total at the company, serving during its float onto the London Stock Exchange in 1989.
Early contenders to take over the role include FD Paul Harrison and UK boss Paul Stobart, both long-time senior managers of the company.
