Financial software trade group BASDA has recruited technology giant UNIT 4's MD Anwen Robinson to sit on its general council

UNIT 4 is the parent company of financial software business Coda and online accountancy providers FinancialForce.com.

Robinson takes up her role immediately at the trade body which represents about 200 international IT businesses.

She will sit alongside 13 council members as well as colleague David Turner, group marketing director at UNIT 4, who co-chairs BASDA's green and cloud special interest groups.

"BASDA has a big role to play in developing technologies and standards in emerging areas like cloud, sustainability, social media, and open and linked data to reduce business costs and improve services,” said Robinson.
