Neil Bright to join Holidaybreak as group finance director
HMV’s finance director Neil Bright is moving to take the same role at
Holidaybreak.
Bright will join the education, leisure and activity group from 1 January
2011, succeeding Bob Baddeley who retires at the end of the year after more than
15 years with the business.
He was appointed a non-executive director of Holidaybreak in November 2008,
and was named its audit committee chair on 2009.
Bright joined HMV in 1996 as group FD from its parent company Thorn EMI, and
was appointed to its board in 1998.
The chartered accountant qualified with Coopers & Lybrand.
