Diageo's Nick Rose to step down

Diageo FD Nick Rose is stepping down in the autumn, to be replaced by his deputy Deirdre Mahlan.

Rose will leave the role at the company's AGM on 14 October but will stay on with Diageo until the end of December.

Mahlan joined Diageo in 1992 from Seagram. She has held several senior finance roles, including FD of its biggest region North America, and as global head of tax, treasury and shared services.
